All Federal And Private Schools Should Reopen On 27th July And Not November 2020 (Opinion)
It is no longer news that schools were closed down because of the recent pandemic disease. The Federal Government Of Nigeria suspended all school activities in March 2020. This was done in order to curtail the spread of the disease. Students all over the country have been eager to know when schools will reopen. This has caused a lot of confusion because the students have stayed for more than 3 months at home. Prior to the suspension of school activities, most primary and secondary schools didn't complete their academic sessions. Some of them were about to write their exams while others were yet to commence. Also, university students were unable to complete their academic sessions. This happened before the Federal Government suspended all the school activities within the country. All federal and private schools should reopen on 27th July and not November 2020 (Opinion). In my own opinion, I will recommend that schools should reopen on 27th July 2020 and not November 2020...

Nyesom Wike Gives New Orders on Reopening of Schools, Churches, Others
Amid the continuous spread of Coronavirus across the nation, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has issued new orders on the reopening of churches, Schools, Banks and other business establishments. The new directives were made public via series of tweets on his twitter handle. The Governor warned that the incumbent government will not relent to prosecute owners of hotels, restaurants, banks, and other business establishments who do not enforce social distancing and use of face mask instead their premises. A suspected armed robber met his waterloo yesterday at Elelewon,Obio/Akpor after a failed robbery attempt. Eye witness revealed that some armed men who drove on Toyota Corolla with plate number Lagos JJJ-104AG , on the process of robbing Divine Supermarket @ 293, Old Refinery Road Elelenwo, PH was intercepted by some Police officer attached to Eliminiigwe Estate . One out of three robbers was unlucky he was shot dead at the scene, while the others escaped. BREAKING : FG declares Nationwide curfew from 10pm to 4am - Punch
The Federal Government says the timing for nationwide curfew is now 10pm to 4am, The PUNCH reports. The National Coordinator of the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19, Dr Sani Aliyu, made this known on Monday. Aliyu, who spoke at the daily briefing of the task force in Abuja, said the new timing takes effect from tomorrow (Tuesday). He said, “Effective from tomorrow, Tuesday, June 2, 2020, the easing of the lockdown will be characterised by the following: the nationwide curfew will remain in place but the timing of this will be reduced to 10pm to 4am. “And just to clarify, the purpose of the curfew is to limit social interactions and, therefore, reduce the risk of transmission of the virus.” The PUNCH reports that the FG previously set the timing of the curfew from 8pm to 6pm.
