The much-anticipated Black And White City – the EP album of young and talented rapper, Kalakuti is finally here.

To rapper earlier this year released two singles, Yenagoa Chicks and Bring Plate. Later on, in an exclusive interview with XWM early this month, the rapper revealed that he would drop an EP album comprising of six tracks.

During the unveiling of the track list, Kalakuti noted that the Black And White City is a renaissance of rap music in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, on Thursday Kalakuti announced on his official social media handles that Black And White City is out.

When asked the reason he chose to title the album Black and White City, Kala revealed that everything in our world today is black and white. He also noted that the best way to see the world is in black and white and not to paint it with colorful lies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Its a black and white world bro, but people just don't wanna admit it.

He further added “The perfect color to see the world, the country, our ghetto society and our day to day struggle is in Black and white.

That means am telling it how I see it. In the best color, in its perfect color, nothing but the truth. Kalakuti also noted that  “people in the society are aware of the "Black and white truth", but they still go ahead to paint a colorful lies. They live a fake life instead of facing reality.”

The first track on the list is a cover of Scarface “Guess who is Back.”
