Tears In Rivers State Government House As Special Adviser on Media To Governor Wike Dies

It is a sad news to the people and government of Rivers State amidst the coronavirus disease torment as the Special Adviser to Governor Nyesom Wike on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, is dead.

Detail cause of his death remains unknown, but according to sources at Government House Port Harcourt said Simeon may have died of cardiac arrest.

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike during a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim, expressed shock over the sudden death of his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.

The Governor described late Nwakaudu as a loyal and dedicated professional who contributed immensely to the implementation of The NEW Rivers Vision.

The governor who on behalf of his family, the government and good people of the State condoled with the bereaved family for the great loss of a dedicated personnel.

“He prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.

“Late Nwakaudu died today at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (RSUTH) after a brief illness,” the statement read.

May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

The Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led national caretaker committee of the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the All Progressives Congress of declaring war on the people of Rivers State over the rerun election.
